About Stag & Bruce

We work ethically with surplus yarn supplies, using a focused colour palette to design and create a range of limited edition wool throws and woollen blankets, designed in Scotland and manufactured in Scotland and Yorkshire using traditional skills and techniques.

Our throws are ideal for laying over a sofa, armchair or bed and our blankets are perfect for picnics and adventures in the great outdoors.

Based in Scotland, Stag & Bruce is a family enterprise established by John and Moira Gillespie who share over 70 years of design and manufacturing experience in the Scottish textile industry, designing bespoke tweeds and tartans for Scottish manufacturers, retailers and estates.
