Efren Gonzalez has been teaching art and painting since childhood. He has developed a unique system of painting with oils that shines through in all his intensely alive, full of colour paintings. His technique is Big to Small… Dry to Wet,,, Dark to Light… Loud to Quiet. I, myself have taken a class with him and enjoyed his expertise, his teaching style, his passion for the arts and the students he teaches. and my end results!

Efren has traveled the world … to paint…. To learn … to hone his craft. His latest excursion was on staff in the Ozarks , at the world renowned PACE: Plein Air Convention and Expo . He was one of the 40 world class artists doing live art demos and instructor in the outdoor painting sessions for 1000+ attendees. 

Efren has his own museum and studio in his home town of Ajjic Mexico. He is also extremely well known for his wall of about 1600 clay skulls that are individually made and lit for ‘Day of the Dead’. Even the Canadian Consul has visited his museum and invited Efren to be part of an arts program.

3 or four 16” x 20” canvas. Primed with acrylic raw sienna.

Brushes number 2, 4, and 6. Good quality please.

Pallet for oil. Odorless solvent. Small container.
