　　2008年畢業於筑波大學研究所生命環境科學研究科博士課程，取得博士學位。現任兵庫縣立人與自然博物館研究員。以出土於兵庫縣及蒙古的恐龍化石為主要研究主題。主要著作有《蒙古大恐龍─戈壁沙漠的大型恐龍與鳥類的進化》（共著，北海道大學出版會，2006年）、《第一本附英文的恐龍圖鑑》（監修，講談社，2017年）、《恐龍的教科書 以最新研究解讀進化之謎》（監修，創元社，2019年）。
