The multi coating helps reduce chromatic aberrations that cause colour fringing as well as reducing the possibility of stray light bouncing off the internal lenses. The smooth focus knob features 1.2 turns so the unit is extremely fast to focus, which is important when watching birds or wildlife and fits easily within reach of the fingers, when holding the binoculars to the eye, even when wearing gloves.

The high resolution phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms ensure edge to edge quality and fine detail which combined with the lightweight rubber coated top hinge chassis, makes the Endurance Binoculars well balanced and comfortable to hold. The magnesium alloy body with a leatherette finish features a waterproof twin hinger pocket sized binocular design allowing these binoculars to be taken anywhere and for all the day without getting too heavy or bulky.

Stay-on lens covers provide maximum lens protection for the objective lens (the one opposite the eyepieces) and the twist-up eyes cups with position stop for eye relief enable the binoculars to be used with or without glasses. Simply leave the eyecups down when wearing spectacles or twist them up to fit into the eye sockets; they also have a dioptre correction so that the binoculars can be fine tuned to individual prescriptions.

Waterproof and fog proof, it doesn't matter what the weather is doing, the binoculars will cope really well and if they get particularly dirty, they can be quickly washed off under fresh running water. The close focus of 2 metres is perfect for bird watching, when small birds come close because they don't know you are there and the detail that can be seen is amazing.
