The black version of our CaSela Cajon with beech wood stands out with its elegance. The matte black body consistently highlights the design veneer, which is made from stained bird‘s eye maple. The CaSela Cajon Series combines Sela‘s years of experience in Cajon construction with advanced production methods. This opens up many visual and acoustic possibilities that were not possible before. All components are Made in Germany with quality at the highest level. The classic body ensures optimal sound development. Solid rounded corners made of beech and the Sela Thin Splash playing surface offer a pleasant playing feel. Due to the construction, it is possible to replace the playing surface later. The sound of the Sela Snare System can be dampened or amplified according to taste. Additionally, the it can be easily removed. This results in a traditional Peruvian Cajon without snare. In addition to the crisp snare sound and the differentiated bass, the CaSela has individually adjustable Clap Corners, which offer further interesting sound possibilities. Only playing surfaces that perfectly harmonize in sound and design with the body material are utilized. The rich, distinct bass and highly responsive snare result in a sensational instrument unlike any other.
