Archie Roach AM's deeply personal song, 'Took the Children Away', from his 1990 debut album, Charcoal Lane, was the first song ever to receive a prestigious Australian Human Rights Award. Its impact was immediate, shining a stark light on Australia's shameful past practices of removing children from their families. The song also speaks of love and reconnection and has traveled across seas into the hearts of First Nations communities everywhere. One dark day, when Archie was just two years old, big black government cars came to his home at Framlingham Aboriginal Mission in southwest Victoria. They forcibly took Archie away from his mother, father and family - everything he had ever known. They took away thousands of other Aboriginal children, right around Australia. Powerful people had decided that these children would be better off living and learning all the white man's ways. Frightened and alone, they grew up in institutions and foster homes. They became known as the Stolen Generations. Ruby Hunter was one of those children, too, only eight when she was taken from the loving arms of her grandmother living on the Coorong in South Australia. Archie and Ruby met and fell in love as homeless teenagers and Archie started writing songs to help ease his pain. Archie's songs, loved by fans worldwide, tell a powerful story of survival and renewal, and the healing power of music. In this special 30th anniversary edition, Archie's iconic lyrics sit alongside evocative illustrations by his beloved soul-mate and musical collaborator, Ruby Hunter. Also included are Archie's recollections of his family and rare historical photographs.

So great, that I own 4 pairs of these Sampeel pants!
Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: Large, Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: Large
I own 4 pairs of these pants because I love them so much! I receive many compliments when I wear them. They are stylish, comfortable, and a great thin material that keeps you cool while looking professional. I am 5" tall and can wear them with heels without needing them to be hemmed (which is unusual for me when ordering pants). They have an elastic waist band with drawstrings so I can wear them while losing weight, they don't wrinkle easily, and they have pockets! Great pants for a great price! I will continue to purchase more throughout the summer.

The good with the bad
Color: Pattern Kah, Size: XX-Large
Photos in listing depict a LINEN pant - in the close up's you can clearly see a linen/cotton like material. To my surprise, these pants are a silky, polyester material. There is NO stretch - I am glad I purchased a size larger than what I consider my " roomy " size. These style is also depicted as a beige and black color pattern, they are more of a light mauve color out of the packaging. Took a steamer to them to get the wrinkles out. Suitable for tall girls ( I am 5'9 ) and wearing them with 3 in wedge. They are cute - dressy enough for a business casual office setting or a date night. Probably not the best for hot humid weather as they are not breathable.

Incredibly comfortable and perfect for summer!
Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: X-Large, Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: X-Large
I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about these pants at first. When I initially opened them, they didn’t feel like they had much stretch, and the fabric felt a bit cheap to the touch. However, once I actually put them on, my opinion completely changed! They are so incredibly comfortable and have a great, effortless drape. The material is lightweight and breathable, making them absolutely perfect for warm summer days. They are easy to style (looked great paired with a simple tank and a denim jacket!) and feel wonderful to move around in. I am so glad I gave them a chance—I would definitely purchase these again!

Cute and comfortable
Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: Medium
Comfortable and cute. A little long but still wear them with no issues. The material is light but synthetic so not really breathable. I foresee wearing them often.

Love these shirts
Size: Small, Color: Watermelon, Number of Items: 1
Love the fabric. They feel so much better than some of the other shirts I have. They’re thicker and just feel nicer. Love this color too. Got a small and also have another color in medium. Both fit, just depends on how casual I want to look. I’ll be getting more!
