Glen was formed in 2015 in Berlin, Germany, by multi-instrumentalist and film score composer Wilhelm Stegmeier and Greek visual artist, film maker and musician Eleni Ampelakiotou. Coming from a cinematic background, and having collaborated on several films and audio-visual projects, they created Glen as a prismatic multi-faceted musical persona, which cannot be easily assigned to a specific genre. Listening to just one track or even one part of a track can misguide the impression of this album, like seeing just one single frame of a movie. As a mostly instrumental band with classic line up of two guitars, bass and drums, Glen deconstructs popular and classical music genres scratching them together with experimental expression and attitude. Minimalistic tonal sequences develop gradually, to complex fugues, interlacing crystal clear guitars with eclectic distortion, vibrating overtones, and shimmering sounds. The wave-like structured compositions approach, break on a chorus, to curl up in free improv or dissolve into a rhythmic torso. Even the mainly choral vocals, that you hear on this album appear as one element of composition, adding the quality and nature of human voices to the sound sculpture. With a glimpse of irony Glen revises the supposedly light atmosphere of melodic fragments to a complex epic multilayered hypnotic structure of free improvisation and repetitive themes, breaking loose either to Dionysian chaos or escaping to poetic cinematic soundscapes. Adding layer by layer, Glen creates a synthesis of contrasting textures with different references to no wave NY, free improv, noise, doom, postrock, minimal music, as well as cinematic scores merging to a unique sound of colorful narratives and surprising mosaics of rhythmic dissonant chords, melodic patterns, and abstract noise.

🐔 Best chikum toy, my puppers love it.
We have two small dogs and they both love this chicken. We are on our 2nd one, it's not indestructible, but built tough and they love all the squeakers. 1st one lasted a little over 2 months, which is a long time for a beloved toy to hold up in this house. I too love this chicken, I mean just look at its funny expression. It's fun to watch these two play with it and I chuckle when I find it in different parts of the house with a startled expression on its face. It seems to say, how did I get here?! What's happening?!

Best dog toys ever. They outlast and are more appealing to my dogs than those that guarantee long life.
We have been buying goDog products from our veterinarian. It takes, literally, years for the dogs to kill them completely. The big toys, such as the chicken, die faster, but even the little mutt loves it. Now the good part: half the price of our veterinarian. Not that I don't want to support them, but $27 bucks for a chicken doomed to die at some point, seems ridiculous. Some of the small sizes are already 4 years old, but the chicken doesn't come in small. Even when they worked at it until the squeaker was dead, the rest of the chicken survived more than a year of constant dragging and tugging. It washed up very good, but we did have to occasionally stitch up larger holes to prevent washing machine loss of stuffing.

My dogs love this
My dogs love this stinking toy. I’m about to buy another one though bc they are tearing it up. But overall they are pretty rough with it and suckle on it. I didn’t think this would be such a hit for them but I’m ok with repurchasing it for the amount of love they have for this!

Almost worked!
I have an EXTREMELY destructive Boston Terrier. She loves playing with her toys, but she loves destroying them even more. "Chicken" was her Christmas present and she loved him. She did pull his eyes off right away, fortunately she didn't swallow them, but I was excited that she couldn't immediately shred him. Then she found his weak spot. She managed to grab hold of the tag and tore the seam, and now she just plays with Chicken's torn up husk. He lasted 3 days, which was longer than any other stuffed animal. I would purchase again, but I would cut the tag as short as I could before giving it to her. It was a good run, but I'm still looking for a soft you she can't destroy!

My 18 lb dog had this torn apart in MINUTES
You are going to read this review and think "my dog will be different" just as I did reading some of the poor reviews. I was bamboozled by this product thinking that there must be something special about it and I was poorly mistaken. First off my dog did love this toy right out of the box. Secondly she had it destroyed in mere MINUTES! I was truly stunned. If you feel you must still purchase this stuffed toy after reading my review please find one by this company that is on sale, do NOT pay full price. She had the trim chewed off, a wing off, the squeakers out within 15 min and I am not exaggerating. There was stuffing EVERYWHERE. Was it kind of amusing? Yes. Was I disappointed in the "chew guard" technology? Absolutely. Be warned! If your dog destroys stuffed animals this one will be no different!!
