Designed to meet the demanding requirements of professional studios, immersive sound installations, live-sound systems, and industrial applications, the RME M1620 PRO-D converts 16 analog line-level signals (per channel switchable up to +24 dBu) to and from popular digital formats like MADI, ADAT, and Dante. It offers exceptional 24-bit /192 kHz audio quality thanks to its precision converters and proprietary SteadyClock FS technology, which ensures minimal jitter and a pristine signal path.

Built with reliability in mind, the M1620 PRO-D features redundant Dante and MADI connections, plus two redundant power supplies with monitored DC input, ensuring uninterrupted operation during mission-critical applications. This compact, 1 RU rackmountable unit boasts a user-friendly front panel with LED level meters, a display, and dual headphone outputs for convenient monitoring. Additionally, the M1620 PRO-D's versatile routing capabilities and extensive control options make it a powerful tool for both recording and live-sound applications.

Simplicity at First Glance, Flexibility and Reliability Beyond
  • RME prioritizes reliability by equipping the M-1620 Pro with built-in redundancy. This includes dual-network and dual-MADI connections, along with a monitored DC input in addition to the internal AC power supply.
  • A unique system clearly signals when an issue arises, ensuring seamless operation. With full standalone capability, users can adjust device settings directly on the unit for quick modifications or to recall entire user-defined presets.
  • The M-1620 Pro D integrates 64-channel, bidirectional Dante connectivity, providing direct links to other audio devices via standard Ethernet switches. If redundancy is not required, the device can act as a switch itself and allow daisy-chains of several Dante devices.
  • Users can record and playback up to 64 channels of any of the M-1620’s analog and digital I/O on their computer using Audinate’s Dante Virtual Soundcard (license not included).
Add Analog and Dante I/O to Any Existing MADI Devices
  • The M-1620 Pro allows manual configuration of the converter’s aliasing filters for optimal impulse and frequency response. Jitter on digital input signals is effectively reduced with SteadyClock FS.
  • Separate word clock BNC and coaxial MADI connectors (with optional optical MADI via an SFP module), allow the device to be easily integrated into existing infrastructure.
Plug & Play, Rapid User Interaction
  • Users can control all device states directly from the front panel for convenient, direct access to all features.
  • RME network audio devices can be reached over network (including wirelessly over Wi-Fi) and USB for convenient remote access, allowing the rapid creation of gain groups, phantom-power switching, and clock configuration.
  • In addition, a JSON-based API and even SysEx MIDI commands can be used to integrate each model virtually anywhere.
  • The integrated routing matrix allows single-channel routing across all analog and digital I/O, making problem-solving of signals, clocking, connectivity, or other issues both simple and straightforward.
SteadyClock FS, Reference-Class Digital Clocking
  • Small fluctuations of the clock frequency are referred to as "jitter", measured in nanoseconds (ns). The effects of jitter on the audio signal are many, from a somewhat rough sound quality to diminished treble localization, to clicks and dropouts in extreme cases.
  • To solve these issues, RME has developed a proprietary technology for synchronization and jitter suppression in digital audio signals called SteadyClock.

Best boots I have ever purchased
I do appraisal work so I was looking for something cute/professional yet durable and rugged for when I work outside in all types of weather. Found it! So comfortable, so cute, and waterproof. I wear them most days for both office work and inspection work. I range between 8.5-9 and I got a 9 and they fit great both with thin socks or thick socks. I very highly recommend.

Perfect for travel... very comfortable!
These things are amazing! I bought these a couple weeks before a trip to Italy and had planned on doing a lot of walking in them. I only got to wear them a couple times before we went on our trip, but no blisters, even during LOTS of walking in them on the trip! They wore in super quickly while still keeping their durability. My feet stay dry even in lots of rain. The photos show the wear on them after a few months, including a couple weeks of travel, and weeks of wear around town. My only complaint is that there is a tiny something (a little knot of thread with glue? not sure...) that is at the top of the opening of the boot, and it rubs the back of my ankle and makes a sore. That isn't enough to make me not wear them though. There's a photo that shows this. As you can see it's super tiny, and probably not even a flaw, it just hits my ankle *just* right so that it rubs.

These shoes were perfect! Cute design
Spent more than I typically would on shoes to get a quality pair for a trip. Needed a dependable shoe that would be waterproof for hiking and exploring the often wet climate and terrain. These shoes were perfect! Cute design. Very comfortable. Fit as expected. Kept my feet warm and dry. Good for hiking as well as walking the streets of the little towns we explored. I'm glad I invested in these boots!

Chic Comfort
I really enjoy these boots. Excellent for wet muddy city streets! The slip on version are a bit narrow when it comes to putting them on. I wear a size 8 and ordered 8.5 for extra room , but they were too long. I think if you have wide feet these may not be too comfortable. Overall a good leather shoe. No water sipped through while wearing.

Need breaking in, but awesome quality
I was a little worried when I first got these- my feet are a little wider than normal, but not wide enough to need wide width. They were quite snug the first few times I wore them, but after some breaking in they fit PERFECT. I did have to go up a half size from my normal 7 to a 7.5, but these boots are fantastic and I can tell I have them for a long time!
