Knights of Legend

This boxed set is an excellent way to begin an Imperial Knights army or expand an existing collection for games of Warhammer 40,000, offering great value compared to purchasing each kit individually. Leading the force is a massive Knight Valiant—alternatively buildable as a Knight Castellan—an imposing war engine that dominates the battlefield. Supporting it are two Armiger-class Knights, smaller but highly mobile and deadly in their own right, ideal for scouting ahead and engaging priority targets. This set is perfect for assembling a Freeblade Company Detachment, with rules available in Eye of Terror: Reign of Iron – Detachments (sold separately) and on the Warhammer Community website.

This box builds 3 multipart plastic miniatures:
– 1 Knight Valiant (can alternatively be assembled as a Knight Castellan)
– 2 Armiger Warglaives (can alternatively be assembled as Armiger Helverins)

The models offer extensive customization options.

The Knight Valiant / Castellan can be equipped with a variety of weapon loadouts:
– Knight Castellan: plasma decimator, volcano lance, and either two shieldbreaker missile launchers with a twin siegebreaker cannon, or one shieldbreaker missile launcher with two twin siegebreaker cannons
– Knight Valiant: conflagration cannon, thundercoil harpoon, and either two shieldbreaker missile launchers with a twin siegebreaker cannon, or one shieldbreaker missile launcher with two twin siegebreaker cannons

The Armiger-class Knights can be built as either Warglaives or Helverins, with options for different faceplates and leg armor:
– Armiger Helverin: dual autocannons, plus either a Questoris heavy stubber or meltagun
– Armiger Warglaive: thermal spear, reaper chain-cleaver, plus either a Questoris heavy stubber or meltagun

The transfer sheets include a large selection of waterslide decals—583 for Imperial Knights and 277 for Armigers—featuring heraldry for Houses Terryn, Hawkshroud, Cadmus, Taranis, and Raven, along with additional markings such as identification symbols, honours, and maker’s insignia.

These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted. Recommended tools and materials include precision cutters, plastic glue, and Citadel Colour paints.
