This PICAXE-18M2 Starter Pack (AXE002U) is a bundle including the pre assembled PICAXE-18 Standard Project Board (CHI030A), a battery box, and a CD ROM with all software and documentation. All extra you need to get started, is a computer and batteries.
Furthermore, free training resources and tutorials are provided in the PICAXE manual (Part 1 - Getting Started).
The training board comes assembled, and is ready for use with all the PICAXE-18M2's analogue and digital inputs and outputs.
Features
- PICAXE-18M2, and all necessary extra components for thePICAXE-18M2 to operate. The board can also be modified to operate with older versions of the PICAXE-18 –series
- IC socket (to easily replace the PICAXE-18M2)
- Darlington driver buffer chip, that enables you to connect higher power output devices (such as motors, solenoids, relays) directly to the board (current up to 500mA)
- The board is prepared to solder wires onto directly, or to be used with screw terminal blocks (sold seperately)
- The project board can be used with any software application that supports the PICAXE hardware, including the free PICAXE Programming Editor and/or Logicator for PIC Micros software.
