Jared Weintraub is the next generation of brilliant fine art outdoor photographers.  His pieces encompass ocean, alpine, and astrologically-infused star-filled skies.  At a young age Jared's work has already been recognized with numerous awards, and displayed in the San Diego Museum of Fine Art and the San Diego Museum of Photographic art.  Originally from San Diego, Jared currently resides in San Luis Obispo.  When he is not monitoring incoming ocean swells, chasing light and fog, or navigating rutted roads to capture starry nights, he can be found surfing at his favorite beach break in Carlsbad CA, or skiing in the Sierra Nevadas.

Bioluminescence features the bioluminescent waves of San Diego framed perfectly under the iconic Scripps Pier for an awe-inspiring image.  Bioluminescent waves are caused periodically in San Diego from algae blooms and it creates a stunning visual display of glowing neon blue waves.
