Robert traveled through Italy for over a decade and painted many landscapes and views from his journies. Interestingly, just painting regular landscapes wasn't as interesting to Robert.

Robert traveled through Italy for over a decade and painted many landscapes and views from his journies. Interestingly, just painting regular landscapes wasn't as interesting to Robert. He specialized in what's known as "capricci", or fantasized landscape/architectural idealizations. He wanted to capture a specific effect versus get tiny details correct, and he became known very well as one of France's landscape artists and garden designers. Robert completed thousands of works throughout his lifetime.

Care Instructions: Remove the pillow cover. Pre-treat the stains with soft cloth or bristle brush that had been soaked in warm soapy water. Machine wash, max 40°C (104°F), normal cycle. Do not bleach, tumble dry on low, do not dry-clean. Iron, steam, or dry low heat only. Fluff to reshape when assembling it back together.
