PF22 Foam Cannon Performance

Launched in 2017, the MTM Hydro PF22 quickly became the industry benchmark for foam cannons. It features adjustable fan blades and a two-stage nozzle, allowing easy switching between vertical and horizontal spray patterns. The top-mounted, click-style chemical injection knob enables precise control over foam thickness by increasing or decreasing chemical draw.

This precision control allows the internal agitator to generate dense, sticky foam with longer dwell time-giving cleaning chemicals more time to emulsify dirt and grime. Compared to low-quality knockoffs, the PF22 produces thicker foam that reduces the need for scrubbing while improving overall cleaning efficiency.

⚠️ Important Safety Notice:
This product is intended only for use with the MTM Hydro Foam Cannon. Installing a QC nozzle at the spray gun outlet is prohibited and may result in serious injury. After foaming, install an extension lance at the gun inlet for wash-down.

Orifice Sizing Notice

The included 3.0 and 3.5 orifices do not support the full PSI/GPM spectrum listed above. Higher-flow, lower-PSI machines may require larger orifices (example: 2000 PSI @ 3.5 GPM requires a 5.0 orifice). Incorrect orifice sizing may cause:

• Foam cannon pulsing

• Unloader bypass cycling

• Watery foam output

MTM foam cannons are not compatible with flow-sensing unloaders. Additional orifice sizes and replacement components are available separately.
