D.A.R.K. is an unlikely collaboration between Dolores O'Riordan, Andy Rourke and Olé Koretsky. Dolores, known famously as the singer of The Cranberries, has sold over 40 million albums and also worked with the likes of Angelo Badalamenti and Jah Wobble. Andy Rourke is best known as the inimitable bass player in one of the most important British bands ever, The Smiths - he has also worked with Pretenders, Ian Brown, Sinead O'Connor and Badly Drawn Boy. The third and final member is Olé Koretsky, a little known songwriter, producer and DJ based in New York. - The band's roots lie in a New York DJ-mixing collaboration formed between Andy and Olé, after they met gigging in Washington DC. After a couple of years' experimentation and laying down tracks in their home studios, a chance meeting between Andy and Dolores resulted in the singer asking him what he was working on. They began sharing tracks and ideas via email and dropbox, building on Andy and Olé's original demos and, in a couple of instances, Dolores completely re-imagining some of the songs. A project Olé was also working on called SCIENCE AGREES was also incorporated into the mix. The three of them found lots in common musically as well as personally, which allowed them to develop these ideas into an album. Further writing ensued, followed by the three band members meeting up in Ontario, Canada to record live instrumentation and final vocal takes. All three of them arranged and produced the album: a concoction created in NYC and Ontario, mixed in California and mastered in London. - The resulting album captures the essence of three distinctive personalities, incorporating their love of electronica and new wave. An array of influences can be heard throughout the album, in particular artists including Angelo Badalamenti ('The Moon'), The Cure, Depeche Mode, David Bowie - Andy and Olé connected over their love of 'Low' - Magazine ('High Fashion'), New Order ('Curvy'), Pet Shop Boys and REM, with production and sonic experimentation inspired by Brian Eno, post-punk, post-disco, RZA and modern hip hop.

Frustrating Opener
Color: Black+Grey
I love and hate these at the same time! I have had several and this one will not stop once it has started! Even though there is a button that says start/stop whenever you push it, it just starts it all over again and I can’t get the lid out. Very frustrating.

Effortless opening and no sharp edges.
We recently went camping and realized we really needed a reliable opener, and this one was a lifesaver. It’s incredibly easy to use, you just set it on the can, press the button, and it does all the work for you. I love that it leaves a smooth edge and feels sturdy, plus the black finish looks really nice. This has quickly become one of my favorite gadgets for making meal prep much faster, whether at home or on a trip.

So simple to use, I'm amazed
Color: Black
Wonderfully helpful. Description is accurate, shipping was quick. I saw a few poor comments, but I have none so far! The can opener has opened cans of several sizes, from tomato paste to large cans of tomatoes; soup cans to strangely shaped. It's opened 30 or so already without loss of power. It's a little noisy, but about equal to that of a stand up opener. It fits in my drawer, which is less deep than most kitchen drawers. Most of all, it's beyond easy to use for arthritic hands. The ONLY CHALLENGE I have is that it sometimes fails to stop when it should. MANUFACTURER: if you read this and have advice, please share.
At this point, I'd say this is a great value for the money.

Pleased be careful
Color: Black
Please be very careful when using this. After using it 2 times it opened cans just fine. Then it stop opening cans and will make hair like strains of metals and one would think its hair and pull on it thus Cutting your fingers open. That’s what happened to me. Please be careful.
