For the ultimate in precision, strength/rigidity†,  Skunk2 Ultra camshafts are machined from forged solid 8660 alloy steel blanks that are then rifle drilled, induction hardened, and CNC precision ground.  

Expect gains throughout the rpm range with a minimum of +6% to +10% gains from 3,500rpm all the way to redline (S58 @ 40psi dyno gains of 100HP, 100 ft.lb TQ). Though Ultra Stage1 cams are compatible with stock OEM valve springs, we recommend the use of Skunk2 upgraded valve springs (PN: 313-14-1000) along with titanium retainers for the S58 as long term durability using stock valve springs is unknown.
