• Curved profile designed for animal safety. With rounded corners both internally and externally, including the base, our water troughs are easily described as being bath-shaped.
• Rounded corners enhance the strength of Water Troughs, especially against cracking during adverse weather. However, at low temperatures where water is liable to freeze, we would recommend troughs are fully drained to prevent damage.
• An extensive range of water troughs are designed to be suitable for sheep and cattle of various sizes and herd requirements.
• Easy draining as all water troughs have a 49mm rubber bung, positioned in the side wall. This allows for easy cleaning and transportation.
• Extra Protection for Ballcocks which are mounted onto a plate which is fixed to the side of the trough.
• Extra protection for Water Pipes as they are recessed in the back or top rim of troughs
• Suited to both conventional and fast-flow ballcocks.
• Suited to any indoor or outdoor location, troughs can be easily moved to a different location using the correct lifting equipment.
• Specifically designed In House Trough – 455L (100 Gallon) available. This curved narrow trough is designed to be positioned at the ends of cubicle runs.
• Moore Concrete Water Troughs are manufactured in compliance with BS 3445 and comply with WRAS Regulations.
• Moore Concrete are delighted to announce the latest in their new innovative product development within the drinking trough range, a new Galvanised Lid. The new Galvanised lid applies to a range of our large drinkers including the 40G, 75G, 150G, 300G and 500G. A key benefit of our new Galvanised Lid is that it has a reduced weight, meaning that it is lighter and easier to handle. Moving forward the new Galvanised Lid will replace the concrete lid on the following troughs 40 40-gallon, 75-gallon, 150-gallon, 300-gallon and 500-gallon.
• Concrete lids are supplied with 15G, 20G and 45G Concrete Troughs.
• Due to their weight less time is required to fit and install concrete water troughs as they can sit under their weight.
