The design used on this tee is a special one.  It was an illustration done by surfer/shaper/artist Tyler Warren, specifically for the 45th Anniversary of the Greenroom Surf Shop.  After being found on the island of Kauai in 1970, the Greenroom then added their San Diego location to stake their Hawaii/California claim.  

This piece features a Greenough-esqe kneeboarder coming off the bottom under the moonlit sky, for the back print, and the original Greenroom Surf Shop palm logo on the front.

    Lightweight but questionable coverage
    I traditionally used the Coola face lotion but had switched to the spray for my body so I figured I’d try the face spray. It doesn’t smell as bad as a lot of the reviews say it does. It also doesn’t really smell “tropical” for that matter, but it isn’t unpleasant. It sprays evenly and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. My only complaint is I still got a little burnt. Full disclosure: I’m super fair and have to reapply every 30-60 minutes, even without getting wet. So maybe it’s not meant for people with as pale a complexion as me. Or I have to constantly reapply, or put the lotion underneath. But otherwise I really liked it and really like Coola products.
