The Prima’s 56mm conical headtube is created from three Grade 5 titanium pieces and welded together, offering the greatest level of handling performance, alongside high accuracy in terms of bearing cup tolerances. Housing 1”½ lower and 1”⅛ upper stainless steel bearing cups, the tapered headtube is a centrepiece in the elegant ride character of the bike.
Our Prima frame is meticulously finished in our atelier in Milan. Drawing inspiration from models of the 90s, the new Prima features a stunning Mirror Polished finish. The logos are elegantly applied through a glass bead blasting process, showcasing our commitment to both tradition and modern craftsmanship.
The Prima uses triple-butted a 42.4mm bi-ovalized downtube, creating a rigid and lightweight platform for riding efforts. That’s complemented by oval titanium chainstays, which preserve the transfer of power horizontally but allow some degree of vertical flex to improve comfort.
Our Prima frame RTR ( Ready to Ride) is available in one configuration:
- Shimano Ultegra 8270 Di2 with Fulcrum Wind 42 wheels. Ready-to-Ride Prima frames are available now in seven different sizes, each carefully studied by Passoni to ensure the perfect fit.
