This handsome leather cuff bracelet with a single genuine black shungite bead is great for any gender!
It is designed to be wrapped comfortably around the wrist twice, through the bronze ring.
Speaking of the bronze ring, this is no ordinary one!
The bronze ring is quite rare and special - a TRUE antique! It comes from Nigeria and was made in the 1700s or 1800s. These were typically worn woven into a leather belt or braided into the hair.
The bead is attached to the ring with a heavy brass wire.
The leather is saddle brown harness leather from Hermann Oak tannery in St. Louis, made from belt remnants. It is very strong and durable, yet soft and pliable. The tannery treats this Old World leather with oils, waxes and dyes in such a way that when the leather is pulled or stretched, the finish darkens and lightens.
The bracelet closes with an antique bronze snap.
