Asus ROG Dominus Extreme Desktop Motherboard - Intel C621 Chipset, LGA-3647 Socket, SSI EEB

Engineered for the most demanding workstations and extreme enthusiasts, the Asus ROG Dominus Extreme Desktop Motherboard delivers uncompromising performance and expandability. Built on the Intel C621 chipset and designed around the Socket P LGA-3647 for Intel Xeon W-3175X processors, this SSI EEB-class board is crafted to push beyond conventional limits. It blends a powerhouse VRM, expansive storage options, ultra-fast networking, and flexible memory configurations into a single, feature-rich platform that thrives under heavy workloads, complex simulations, and professional-grade content creation. If you’re chasing peak framerates, near-zero latency, and the reliability of server-grade features in a desktop-grade package, the Dominus Extreme is purpose-built for you. It’s more than a motherboard; it’s a platform engineered for extreme performance, longevity, and headroom for the future.

  • Extreme power delivery for sustained overclocking and stability: The Dominus Extreme features a robust 32‑phase power design with dual 24‑pin connectors and quad 8‑pin CPU power rails. This advanced VRM architecture provides exceptionally clean, well-regulated power to every component, enabling stable operation under sustained workloads and when pushing multi-core Xeon configurations. The result is improved thermal management, reduced voltage droop, and the headroom needed to extract maximum performance from the Xeon W-3175X processor without compromising stability or reliability.

how to install Asus ROG Dominus Extreme Desktop Motherboard

  • Verify compatibility: Ensure your chassis supports SSI EEB form factors and that your power supply can deliver stable, sufficient power for a high-end Xeon-based build. Confirm that your cooling solution and clearance accommodate the board’s large footprint and potential multi-GPU or expansive PCIe configurations.
  • Prepare the processor and cooling: Install the Intel Xeon W-3175X into the LGA 3647 socket with the appropriate mounting hardware. Apply an appropriate thermal interface material and attach your cooling solution, ensuring full contact and adequate clearance for large heatsinks or custom water-cooling loops.
  • Install memory and storage: Populate the 6-channel DDR4 memory slots according to the motherboard’s memory population guidelines to maximize bandwidth and stability. Install M.2 drives into the quad M.2 slots with heatsinks and add any DIMM.2 modules as needed for additional PCIe-based storage. If using U.2 drives, connect them to the dual U.2 connectors.
  • Connect power and data cables: Attach the dual 24-pin and quad 8-pin power connectors securely. Connect all necessary motherboard fans, power cables, USB headers, and case I/O leads. Ensure that the 10G Ethernet module and Wi‑Fi module (if included) have unobstructed paths for optimal performance.
  • Configure BIOS and storage arrays: Power on and enter the BIOS to set memory XMP profiles, PCIe lane configuration, and any overclocking profiles you intend to apply. Configure your NVMe storage, RAID arrays, and Optane caching options according to your workload needs.
  • Install operating system and drivers: Install your preferred operating system, then install the latest chipset drivers, storage controller drivers, and network drivers. Update the BIOS to the latest version to ensure compatibility with newer CPU microcode and firmware features.

Intriguing
Format: Kindle
Very interesting world set up! I'm liking the characters more and more as we get to know them as well. At first I found it difficult to remember what powers each of the 3 monsters have, but the author does a great job of working it into the story to help the reader remember and eventually tell who is who much easier. Seems like a great start to a series. I can't wait to see where everything is heading.

In Love With These Interconnected Series
Format: Kindle
I am in love with these interconnected series!!!! I love getting sneak peeks at the girls we haven’t met yet and seeing the girls we know and love interact with each other. I also really enjoy the concept of how all of the sectors are set up and the way that the academy is run. Alexandra’s situation is especially unique as she has lived her whole life thinking that she is human while wishing that she wasn’t. She has created her own monsters to protect her from the monsters in her real life, but all of the sudden her monsters are real!!! I love how different this is from other stories that I have read, not a lot of characters will living beings with their own memories and thoughts into existence. I am also super excited to see how the ending translates into the next book and if there will be any ties to Greek mythology included.

Unexpectedly emotional and packed with action!
Format: Kindle
Why do I suddenly want nothing more than a tiny wyvern to snuggle with?! It’s adorable and I absolutely love all of those moments! Wings of Stars was everything I’ve come expect from this powerful author duo. The fact that it’s written by two different people is completely transparent to the reader and they’ve brought us another world and characters that we’re all emotionally connected to and fully invested in! The injustice that we see from Alfemir in the many forms in which it comes is infuriating and makes me desperate for the conclusion of the story so they can all get what’s coming to them! I love all the guys right now, with one exception, and if you’re read it, you know exactly who I’m talking about. Bastian is hilarious - he was the comedic relief through an otherwise quite serious story. My heart bleeds for him and I can’t wait to see how he progresses through the series. Parts of Wings of Stars were unexpectedly emotional and of course I was left with my jaw on the floor at that cliffhanger! Next, please!

Niz !!!
Format: Kindle
First, let me say that I love both of these authors. I have been hooked by both ever since I discovered their writings, and I follow their social media groups closely. This book did not disappoint. Sure, there are several questions that I have, a couple of times I went huh (which I won't get into because I do not want to offer any spoilers) and I hated the cliff hanger lol, but I cannot lie and say I didn't love the book, because I did. The twist on angels was new and fresh, even though that is part of my questions. The beginning and ending were the better parts, the middle was needed but sorta bogged a little. Kieran was confusing but relatable. Niz is BY FAR the best character of the book, love NIZ. For me, Bastian is a close second, always loved the crazy ones. The other men were good, but Steele gets on my nerves and as of right now, IMO, he doesn't belong, but we will see how that goes. I have lots of questions, but this was an excellent start to a new series and I cannot wait for the next book. Highly recommend

fallen destiny? more like destined to fall in love
Format: Kindle
Kieran is an angel, but she doesn't have an affinity. Nothing angers her father more. If she doesn't find an affinity soon she will be cast to earth & have her wings removed. But she has the choice to become a fallen angel, wings turn black, & live her life on edge. Towards the end of the book things start to make sense. Gabe’s nickname for Kieran, Steele’a hatred, Bastian’s belief that Kieran is powerful. This book ended literally during a war? As one of her friends was injured, and admitted a bit secret? Talk about cliff hanger. The next book comes out August 5th.
