In 2024, Lawrence Coulson celebrates 25 years since first showcasing his atmospheric brushwork with Castle Fine Art. Inspired in the outdoors and in the remarkable British landscapes, Coulson has had a long-standing career developing his techniques, bringing a serene and celestial feel to each artwork.

As part of the commemorative collection, 25 Years of Contemporary British Landscape, the artist brings six limited edition artworks inspired by beautiful British locations from Cornwall to Scotland, and East Anglia. Focused on creating landscapes that evoke a sense of mood and atmosphere, Coulson explores a combination of beach scenes and woodlands with his delicate painting style.

With bold use of colour, this collection showcases Lawrence’s profound connection to nature and his ability to evoke mood and atmosphere. The dramatic skies, rolling hills and a serene landscape in ‘Black Rain’ invites viewers to immerse themselves in nature and the emotional reminiscent and nostalgic feelings the original artwork evokes.
