The Clean channel (like the MT 15) stays pristine and chimey - try it with split or single coils to hear it sing. The Gain channel (also like the MT
15) gets lush heavy tones with massive bass response that is never muddy.
The added Overdrive channel (modeled after one of Tremonti's favorite personal amps) brings an incredibly flexible gain structure and musical midrange response to this already versatile amp platform. Select your channel on the amp face or via the included footswitch - both feature matching channel lights so you'll never lose your place.
All three channels share the same preamp tube type (12AX7s) for ease of servicing. At a powerful 100 watts, the value of the MT 100 well exceeds its price tag. It is a straightforward, powerful amp full of aggression and articulation, and the onboard effects loop means your pedals are welcome to join the party.
Please note: Mind your master... volume that is. On the Overdrive and especially on the Lead channel, keep the Master down to start. On the Lead Channel, keep the Master below 10 o'clock to avoid dangerous volumes!

Batteries stop holding charge after only a few months.
I live in Phoenix so there is plenty of sunshine for the solar panels to charge the batteries. After only a few months, several (I purchased 12) of the units stopped working. I changed a few batteries (at over $25 per battery) and the units worked fine again. Disappointing considering the initial cost of the units. I won't buy these again and would not recommend them considering their cost and their short lived batteries.

Great lights, terrible assembly
Just got these and ran one night, lots to love about these: very high-quality and sturdy construction. Huge solar panel compared to every other solar light I've used or seen. Seems like high quality powder coated finish and everything fit together great (except see below). I would have given this 5 stars except for the facts that 1) the threading of the screw for the spike to stake assembly is total crap. The threads got messed up when they cut the parts and they didn't bother to recut the threads. It took me no less than about 15 minutes of frustration per light to get the damn things to thread together. Only 1 out of 9 lights easily thread together like you'd expect and 1 cross threaded and would not go together. For $80 a piece you'd expect perfection. 2) So. Many. Screws. Granted you get the benefit of a 3 part stake to adjust the height but it takes 6 screws to just assemble the thing. Need to change the battery? NINE, yes 9 screws to get at the battery. Also, the screws are soft and easy to strip so take great care not to over tighten. So I'd recommend the light based on the quality and performance, just prepare yourself for a frustrating assembly and battery change when the time comes.

Over two years and works great
I’m happy with the light, works great, easy to clean and wipe down, lasts thru most of the night.
It gets great sun in our coastal yard for 6-8 hours and when it’s cloudy it still works decently
