Elevate your data networking with the HPE FlexNetwork 7500X 24-port 10GBASE-T RJ-45 FD Module. This high-density copper expansion module adds 24 x 10GBASE-T RJ-45 ports to your HPE FlexNetwork 7500X switch, delivering scalable, low-latency connectivity for servers, storage, and virtualization. Engineered for enterprise-grade reliability, it supports auto-negotiation, backward compatibility with slower Ethernet standards, and streamlined management through the same interface you already use for your network. Whether you’re upgrading a data center spine or a campus edge, this module maximizes uplink capacity while preserving cabling simplicity and cost efficiency. With its robust design and seamless integration into the 7500X family, it is a practical solution for organizations seeking to boost bandwidth density without sacrificing manageability or uptime.

  • High-density 24 x 10GBASE-T RJ-45 copper ports deliver dense uplinks for servers, storage, and virtualization, enabling scalable leaf-spine, core-to-edge, and data-center-to-campus architectures while minimizing cable clutter and complexity.
  • Designed for seamless integration with the HPE FlexNetwork 7500X series, this FD (Focus on Dense) module is a hot-swappable expansion option that reduces downtime and preserves existing investments in your data network infrastructure.
  • Backward compatible with 1G and 100M devices through auto-negotiation, allowing a gradual upgrade path as your network evolves. You can attach legacy devices without specialized adapters, simplifying migration and deployment.
  • Optimized for performance and reliability, the module supports 10GBASE-T copper Ethernet with low latency, high throughput, and features that support enterprise networking requirements such as VLAN tagging, trunking, and quality of service (QoS) to guarantee critical applications receive appropriate bandwidth.
  • Enterprise-grade management and monitoring capabilities enable proactive maintenance and visibility. Manage port configurations, monitor link status, and apply standard security and governance policies through familiar management interfaces, reducing administrative overhead and improving network agility.

Technical Details of HPE FlexNetwork 7500X 24-port 10GBASE-T RJ-45 FD Module

How to install HPE FlexNetwork 7500X 24-port 10GBASE-T RJ-45 FD Module

  • Verify compatibility: Ensure your chassis is a supported HPE FlexNetwork 7500X model and that there is an available slot for the FD module. Confirm that the firmware on the switch is current to support new modules.
  • Prepare the workspace: If your environment allows safe hot-swapping, you can proceed without powering down the entire chassis; otherwise, follow your maintenance procedure to power down the chassis or the relevant module bay as required by your policy.
  • Remove the slot filler: If a blanking plate or filler is installed in the target slot, remove it to expose the expansion slot.
  • Install the module: Align the FD module with the slot and slide it in firmly until the connector seats and a latch engages. Ensure the module is fully seated and secured before proceeding.
  • Reconnect and power on: If you powered down for maintenance, restore power. If hot-swapping was allowed, the system should initialize the new module automatically; otherwise, perform a standard startup sequence per your device’s guidelines.
  • Verify operation: Use the switch’s management interface (CLI or GUI) to confirm that the module is detected, identify port status, and check for any fault indicators. Begin by verifying link status on all 24 ports and ensure no errors are reported.
  • Configure ports: Assign speed settings, enable or configure VLANs, prepare link aggregation groups (LACP) if needed, and apply QoS policies to prioritize critical traffic. Validate performance with test traffic to confirm uplink capacity meets your expectations.
  • Document changes: Record the installation details, port mappings, and any new policies in your network change log to support future maintenance and audits.

No complaints after use
Color: Black/Yellow Accent
Always been a fan of Ironman watches especially the original. The negative display threw me off for a few days but getting used to it. Love the fit and size of it. Not to mention it's extremely light and you barely notice it after a bit. For under $40 if it malfunctions in a year or two I'll just buy another or one similar.

Bang for the buck
Color: Blackout
Let me previce this review by stating that I have had multiple fitness watches including Garmin suunto Timex and Casio. This watch has some limitations and I will get to them. The first thing is the design and functionality. The picture doesn't do this watch justice. It is sleek. Small enough to not be gaudy. But large enough to look appropriate regardless of your body size. I am 6' 180 lbs and its perfect. The functionality is great. Some watches require a college degree but this watch is simple to program and switch through modes. It has a lap counter countdown timer stop watch as well as time day date etc. It also has more features that don't interest me for fitness so I won't go into them. One complaint other reviewers have stated is with the black background it can be difficult to see display. To them I would reply the top right button is a light. Push it once to illuminate the display. Problem solved. Having a black background does make the display less visible. That's obvious to me but perhaps not everyone. With that being said I only have to use the light if I'm in a dark area. In normal room lighting it is easy to see. This watch does not have GPS capabilities which other watches I've had has. Add another zero to the price of this watch and you can have GPS too. I use this watch mainly for indoor fitness inc swimming and running on an indoor track and use my garmin outdoors. This is a great everyday watch and a great price. No issues no complaints.

6 years and still going
Color: Blackout, Color: Blackout
Owned for 6 years and still going strong. Worn daily, including showers. The only time I take it off is to sleep. The face is scratched up and some buttons worn smooth (I wear it on the inside of my wrist). A few tiny cracks are beginning to form on one of the wristband pieces. Replaced the battery after about 3 years. It has three alarms and I use them regularly. You can choose to set each alarm for daily, weekdays, or weekends. I also use the timer a lot. Indiglo gets used every morning and many evenings. You can disable modes that you never use, so you only see what you want. I never use chronograph, so I have that disabled. Incredible watch.

The watch of our era
Color: Blackout
Bought this ‘used’ but looks like only the box had some ‘damage’ but the watch was perfectly brand new. I’ve been wearing a timex Ironman watch since my tenth birthday. I’ve served in the Marine corps and wore one while on tour. I’ve worn them snorkeling and diving. I’m a mechanic and have worn it on my belt loop while working, and depending what I’m doing I’ll leave it on. I wear it in the shower, the pool, beach, kayaking, skydiving, mudding, surfing, fishing, shooting, and while relaxing in my recliner. I’ve only had one battery die, and it was easily replaced. This is the watch of our era. Stop reading this review and buy one!
