Black Box Industrial Ethernet PoE+ Switch - Unmanaged, Extreme Temperature, 6-Port

The Black Box Industrial Ethernet PoE+ Switch - Unmanaged, Extreme Temperature, 6-Port is engineered for high-performance networking in demanding environments. This rugged switch delivers reliable, plug-and-play connectivity at the edge of industrial networks, power delivery through PoE+ to compatible devices, and the resilience needed to withstand harsh conditions. Built for manufacturing floors, outdoor enclosures, and other challenging settings, it provides a compact, dependable solution for edge networking where downtime is not an option.

  • Designed for industrial environments with a rugged metal enclosure that resists dust, vibration, and temperature swings, making it ideal for edge deployments on factory floors, warehouses, outdoor enclosures, and spaces where reliability under harsh conditions is critical.
  • Unmanaged, plug-and-play operation requires no software or complex configuration; simply power the switch, connect devices, and let auto-negotiation establish fast, stable Ethernet links across all six ports to support a wide range of edge devices.
  • PoE+ power on all ports enables quick deployment of IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP stations, sensors, and other powered devices without running separate power cables, reducing installation time, clutter, and overall wiring costs.
  • Extreme temperature tolerance and durable construction ensure stable performance in challenging climates, with a design that resists dust, humidity, and vibration to deliver consistent data throughput where standard equipment would struggle.
  • Versatile mounting options and a compact footprint allow wall, panel, or rack mounting, providing scalable edge networking for growing industrial networks without sacrificing space or reliability.

Technical Details of Black Box Industrial Ethernet PoE+ Switch - Unmanaged, Extreme Temperature, 6-Port

  • Ports: 6 x Ethernet PoE+ ports (IEEE 802.3at capable) for power delivery to connected devices and data transmission at standard Ethernet speeds where supported.
  • Management: Unmanaged, plug-and-play operation with auto-negotiation; no software or configuration required to deploy in most edge network scenarios.
  • PoE+ Support: PoE+ on all ports to simplify the deployment of powered devices along the network edge and to reduce the need for separate power runs.
  • Enclosure and Durability: Industrial-grade design built to endure harsh environments, including wide temperature ranges, dust, and vibration common in manufacturing and outdoor installations.
  • Mounting and Footprint: Compact form factor with flexible mounting options for wall, panel, or rack installation to fit into tight control cabinets or equipment enclosures.

how to install Black Box Industrial Ethernet PoE+ Switch

  • Choose a suitable mounting location with adequate ventilation and access to power; secure the switch using the appropriate mounting hardware for wall, panel, or rack installation.
  • Connect powered devices (IP cameras, access points, sensors, or VoIP stations) to any of the six PoE+ ports to begin powering them as soon as the switch is energized.
  • Provide the required power to the switch per its installation guidelines and verify that the unit is receiving power and initializing correctly before connecting other equipment.
  • Connect the switch to the rest of your network with a standard Ethernet link to your core switch or router, ensuring network continuity and proper data flow across the edge.
  • Power on the system, monitor the LED indicators for link/activity and PoE status, and perform a quick device check to confirm connectivity, power delivery, and overall network performance.

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
