Every once in a while we run into a person or family that everyone is drawn too. Whether it's the infectious personality, the quirky way they say or do things with such sincerity, or simply a smile that lights up a room. Our own Med-Tech family has been hit with a traumatic challenge in the form of cancer. Throughout the short 17 years of life our friend and Med-Tech family member has been an inspiration to all of us. Now, Blake Nichols, will have to fight the toughest fight of his life and battle cancer. We have all known someone that has had to fight the fight and I for one wish this disease would go away and never return. Blake is a vibrant, young athlete attending Willamette High School, going into his senior year. The quarterback of the football team was the farthest off goal he could even dream at this point in his life. He has worked so hard for that chance and when it all seemed within reach, it was torn away from him. Without so much as a single snap, like so many other amazing young men and women, Blake will take this head on. He will win this fight and become that much stronger for it. Med-Tech is so proud of Blake for his courageous approach and desire to beat the demons that he will face.
