Bring the remote control functionality to your own non-PTZ camera with the PTR-15 4K Robotic Pan/Tilt Head from Datavideo. More than just a motorized head, the PTR-15 interfaces with PTZ-compatible control systems, allowing you the same kind of experience. From pan and tilt control to powering your camera and controlling its zoom lens via LANC or other protocols, this head is a compact PTZ solution for cameras weighing up to 8.8 lb.

Durable Construction
The PTR-15 empowers a single operator to efficiently manage multicamera remote-controlled PTZ operations. You can utilize LANC control to integrate with conventional camcorders or broadcast cameras. The durable aluminum head weighs only 8.2 lb and supports a camera rig up to 8.8 lb.

Control Options
You can control the PTR-15 remotely using a variety of control options, including serial, Ethernet, and LANC communication. It seamlessly supports Datavideo's optional RMC-180 MARK II, RMC-300A, and SHOWCAST 100 controllers.

Options include standard RS-232/422 control as well as IP-based control, allowing adjustments of camera parameters such as aperture, shutter, red/blue gain, inflection point, and more.

Versatile Interfaces
The PTR-15 supports both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 standards for broadcast and AV applications, and other connections include 3G-SDI, genlock, timecode, serial control, DVIP control, and power I/O.

The head also supports genlock/timecode to allow interconnection of all cameras and display devices for precise synchronization at every frame on the same clock frequency. This prevents issues like tearing due to unstable frame transmission.

Presets
The PTR-15 supports up to 199 preset camera positions to help move your camera quickly and precisely with repeated movements. They can be stored and activated using the included IR remote or the optional RMC-300A or RMC-180 Mark II remote controllers.

Power Options
Thanks to integrated PoE++ technology, no supplementary battery or power source is required for operation. It also features a dual-voltage 12/24V D-Tap output to power your camera or other accessories. It features stable power delivery and surge protection for safety.

Tally Light
A tally light is positioned on the front of the PTR-15 to display your camera's operational status.

AR/VR Integration
The head combines advanced pan/tilt technology with AR/VR systems, and supports lens tracking data via Free-D for control and motor tracking synchronization. It can connect via RS-422 to transmit pan, tilt, and zoom data to the TVS-3000 Virtual Studio Production System.

Hours of pleasure and learning
N.T. Wright is an excellent teacher - easy to listen to and so knowledgeable. The videos follow the book exactly and the accompanying workbook makes study a joy not a chore

Part of a Set
There are three items available in Wright and Bird's massive work on the New Testament. This is the video that goes with the text and there is also a Workbook.

Video lectures, just as the subtitle promises
I was seduced into buying this set on the basis of NT Wright's reputation and advertising graphics showing Holy Land locations. Consequently, I didn't pay sufficient attention to the subtitle: "The New Testament in Its World: Video Lectures." And "lectures" is exactly what this set delivers. Talking heads, lecturing on the New Testament; sometimes in a studio, sometimes in eastern Mediterranean locations. The content is solid evangelical biblical scholarship. My disappointment is the almost complete lack of engagement with the spectacular settings much of these films are shot in. It seems to me that Wright and his producers missed a real opportunity by failing more explicitly to relate their lecture content to the places where they're standing. I give this set a three-star rating. The lectures are a perfectly fine introduction to the New Testament, if that's what you're looking for -- but you could put them on CDs or MP3s and listen in the car. The graphics add very little to these presentations.

Didn't get a lot out of it
My wife got me this for a Christmas present. Having previously made it through Eusebius' "Proof of the Gospel", she figured I could handle it. I know this is part of Zondervan's Academic product line and as such is not aimed at a general audience. What I discover was that if the audience lacks credentials in Philosophy or Theology, the incessant use of jargon and terminology that would most often only be encountered in a Seminary or Religious College is something I found off-putting.
