Metaphysical Properties

Auralite 23 is very similar to Super 7 (also known as Melody 7) in both appearance and its metaphysical healing properties. This crystal It increases psychic sensitivity while also activating a person's inner vision capabilities. The crystal's energy awakens the presence of magic within a person and has been describes as "wizard energy". This unusual form of amethyst also enhances and magnifies the energies of other crystals in proximity to it, especially (but not limited to) those that are in it (up to 35 minerals).

About Auralite 23

Auralite 23 crystal is only found in Thunder Bay, Canada. It is primarily comprised of Amethyst, Citrine and also a rare form of Green quartz. The multitude of elements form intricate etching and attractive chevron phantom banding throughout the complete crystal. These unusual "cosmic crystals" contain a minimum of 17 and up to 35 different minerals / elements including: Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), Aluminum (Al), Barium (Ba), Beryllium (Be), Bismuth (Bi), Calcium (Ca), Cadmium (Cd), Cobalt (Co), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Mercury (Hg), Potassium (K), Lanthanum, (La), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn), Molybdenum (Mo), Sodium (Na), Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), Lead (Pb), Palladium (Pd), Sulfur (S), Antimony (Sb), Scandium (Sc), Strontium (Sr), Thorium (Th), Titanium (Ti), Thalium (Tl), Uranium (U), Vanadium (V), Tungsten (W), Zinc (Zn) and Zirconium (Zr)

The larger (often Red cap) crystals are conservatively estimated to be 1.2 billion years old although some Auralites are thought to be 2 billion years old! These are some of the oldest crystals found to date. They formed during the Meso-Proterozoic age. Some scientists believe that meteoric impacts during this time brought rare metallic ores to the surface. These rare elements eventually became inclusions in growing Amethyst crystals we now call Auralite 23. This is the first time that the Gemological Institute of America had ever found traces of gold in amethyst.
