Here for your consideration is a 1997 Fender '52 reissue Telecaster in very good condition! Being a '52 reissue it obviously started its life off as a a"Blackguard", but the original black one ply guard was changed for a tortoise guard for a unique look. Original Fender pickups were replaced with a set of USA DiMarzio True Velvet pickups. Body shows some light surface marks and one small ding along the top edge (see photo), but is otherwise in good shape with no major damage. Neck is in excellent shape with a nice soft V profile. Headstock shows some light marks along the edge but is otherwise clean. Fretboard is in excellent condition and frets show only the very lightest signs of wear with no divots or issues. Hardware sows some light age and oxidization but is otherwise in great shape. Electronics work great and features a set of DiMarzio True Velvet pickups that sound awesome! Overall a solid '52 with a great set of pickups, and a unique look with the tortoise shell pickguard. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes gig bag but we do have hard cases available for upgrade.
