Add a touch of metallic elegance to your DIY projects with these imitation gold leaf sheets. Each pack contains 100 square foil papers in gold, silver, and copper tones, perfect for resin art, candle making, nail art, and home decor. Lightweight and easy to cut, these gilding sheets let you achieve a luxurious finish without the cost of real metal leaf.

Whether you are working on a resin coaster, a plaster sculpture, or a furniture makeover, these foil papers stick smoothly to prepared surfaces. The thin, flexible material conforms well to curves and edges, making it a versatile choice for both flat and three-dimensional applications. Use them to add shimmer to picture frames, vases, or even book covers.

Each sheet measures approximately 14 x 14 cm, giving you plenty of material to work with for small to medium-sized projects. The set includes three classic metallic colors so you can mix and match or use them individually. This bulk pack is ideal for crafters who want to experiment with gilding techniques without committing to expensive supplies.

The foil is designed for indoor use and works best with adhesive sizing or glue. It can be sealed with a clear varnish to protect the finish on frequently handled items. Simple to use and forgiving for beginners, these sheets are a great way to explore the art of metal leaf application.

Usage Scenario

Mia wanted to give an old wooden photo frame a fresh look for her living room. She applied a thin layer of adhesive sizing to the frame, waited for it to become tacky, and then pressed a sheet of imitation gold foil onto the surface. After gently brushing away the excess, she sealed the frame with a clear varnish. The result was a bright, metallic frame that looked like real gold leaf but cost only a fraction of the price.

Micro Comparison

Real gold leaf is expensive and extremely delicate, often requiring special tools and experience to apply without tearing. These imitation foil sheets are more affordable and easier to handle, making them a practical alternative for hobbyists and beginners. While they do not contain real metal, the visual effect is very similar once sealed, and you get three colors in one pack for greater creative flexibility.

Questions and Answers

Question: Can I use these foil sheets with regular craft glue?

Answer: Yes, you can use a thin layer of white craft glue or a specialized adhesive sizing. Make sure the glue is tacky before applying the foil.

Question: Are these sheets safe to use on candles?

Answer: Yes, they are safe for decorative use on candles. Do not place foil directly in the flame area. Use only on the outer surface or as an embedded decoration.

Question: Will the foil stick to nail polish?

Answer: Yes, it works with wet gel polish or nail glue. Apply the foil to the tacky layer, press firmly, and seal with a top coat.

Question: How do I seal the foil to prevent it from flaking off?

Answer: Use a clear spray varnish or brush-on sealant after the foil is applied. This protects the finish and keeps the foil from peeling over time.

Question: Can I cut these sheets into smaller pieces?

Answer: Yes, you can cut them easily with scissors or a craft knife. The foil does not fray or tear unpredictably when cut cleanly.

A must-read for OBE enthusiasts
Format: Paperback
Projection of the Astral Body I recently read The Projection of the Astral Body by Sylvan Muldoon and Hereward Carrington, and it’s a captivating classic! Published in 1929, Muldoon’s firsthand accounts of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) are vivid and pragmatic, detailing his involuntary projections from age 12 and experiments thereafter. His explanations of the astral cord, travel sensations, and the hypnagogic state are clear, avoiding excessive mysticism. Carrington’s scientific editing adds credibility. My only critique: the dated language can be dense, and the small font in some editions strains the eyes. A must-read for OBE enthusiasts

Basic Fundamentals of Astral Projection
Format: Paperback
This book is full of great information about Astral Projection that is presented in a straightforward manner. I have read many books and articles about this subject over the past 10 years. Many are full of scraps of insight that are glued together with abundant amounts of repetition and babble. Mr. Sylvan Muldoon, like many of the great occultists from the early 20th century, has created a work that will refresh the weary, "would-be" traveler by keeping his explanations short and concise. His theory on the astral body being ruled by the subconscious conveys why auto-suggestion is extremely important when attempting separation. He provides the traditional method of maintaining the hypnagogic state via the raised forearm of which Robert Monroe echoes in his own exercises 40 years later. His "Dream True" method is unique to any of the techniques that I have read about in the past. I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone who is attempting the art of Astral Projection.

Good book, quite through
This was quite an in depth analysis on the subject which the author writes from his own experiences, and it seems quite obvious that he is not making any of it up. His explanations can be tedious at times, but this is in an effort to present the information as scientifically as possible, trying to answer any and all doubts and questions that would arise to the skeptical minded person. If you are interested in astral projection, I have never read a more revealing book on the subject.

Astral Projection From A Century Ago
Format: Kindle
This book is roughly a century old. With that comes a slightly different language but not one too difficult to follow. Some of the things that stuck out for me were: * The astral cable or “silver cord.” * The subjects of possession and the demonic. * The detailed suggestions for astral projection. This book could have used some editing ( there is the occasional “I” out of place) in spots but it remains very readable and helpful for understanding what astral projection is and different facets of it.
