Science & History About Moldavite

Moldavite is a very rare and unique green Tektite that was created as a result of a meteor that fell to earth about 15 million years ago. While it is commonly referred to as a stone, crystal, or meteorite, it is actually none of these. Moldavite is a naturally occurring form of impact glass known as a Tektite. It is part earthly (made from the Earth's crust) and part extra terrestrial (meteorite-based).

The intense heat generated upon impact of the meteorite with the earth instantly vaporized surrounding materials. This created a hot molten green glass-like silica-rich material that rained down to earth in a region now known as the Czech Republic. This is the only place in the world that Moldavite is found. It has been referred to as the gemstone that fell from heaven. Its beautiful green color, extra terrestrial origins, and thousands of people's extraordinary experiences with it have earned this stone quite a reputation.

Metaphysical Properties

Moldavite is known as "the stone of transformation". It has a strong reputation for accelerating "change" for one's highest good and also increasing synchronicities. It brings rapid spiritual evolution while ushering in change necessary for alignment to one's path in life. It is also considered a very protective stone. It is also used to connect and communicate with extra terrestrials or ETs. Moldavite is also one of the Synergy 12 Stones as described by author Robert Simmons for activating the light body.

What is the Moldavite Flush? When holding a piece for the first time those sensitive to the energy of this stone often experience the "Moldavite Flush". It is usually felt as a mild sense of heat or tingling in the hand followed by a warm flushed feeling in the body. Sometimes it is felt as a sudden and spontaneous opening of the heart chakra while simultaneously clearing negative energy trapped in the the etheric body / light body. This experience can be intense for some people, while others may feel nothing at all consciously.

Often times people feel inexplicably drawn to buy Moldavite when they first learn of it. It is advised that those new to this stone's energy only work with it for short periods of time at first. Simultaneously holding or carrying minerals like Shungite, Hematite, Smoky Quartz, Black Obsidian, Jet, or an Iron Meteorite will aid in balancing and grounding the high vibration energy. Herkimer Diamonds and other quartz crystals help to stabilize and also sometimes amplify Moldavite's energy. It is always best to follow one's own inner guidance when working with crystals and minerals.

    This gorgeous 15 million year old piece of Moldavite is in excellent shape, but does have some minor chips as most all ancient tektites do.     This is by far the best tasting water that I have ever had. When I'm really thirsty, there is only one thing that I can really take in a good amount of and not feel nauseous and that's slightly chilled Blue Gatorade. But with the Essentia, I can drink the whole 1.25L bottle in one go and actually feel satisfied. The Gatorade will give me heart burn, but the Essentia does the opposite because of its high pH, making it a base. It will relieve heart burn, it will satisfy thirst, and after the longest time of our kids drinking the filtered water from the fridge, they have start begging us if they can open a bottle of Essentia to split between time. They like it cold like mom though. I'm the only one that drinks it warm and maybe I'm the weird one, but I truly enjoy it. We've been drinking it for over a year now and feel great. I highly recommend it and suggest buying the 12x1.25L or 12 by 1.5L (in the rare cases they come up) cases. The size is convenient, it doesn't get that stale taste if you forget to put the cap on for a little while, and it's just an enjoyable way to get your daily water intake. As for the health impact, many bacteria, diseases, and even cancer, etc which I'm, thrive in an acidic environment, after 3 months of drink Essentia and a pH test, I'm at about 8 on the pH scale and have stayed that way. Just for a refreshed 0-6 is acidic, 7 is neutral, and 8-14 is alkaline or basic. Knock on wood, but I have not but I have not been sick in 3 years, just check up visits and I'm a cancer survivor in remission for 13 years now. I cannot tell you exactly when we bought the first bottle in the super-market, but it has been easily 3+ years now. A+ and a continued customer for sure. I also like that they literally fill the bottle to the top, to where you have to carefully unscrew the cap without it spilling. That says something about the company, not trying to save the ounce of water at the top of the bottle and fill it with air.

    I am pretty picky about bottled water. I will only drink black capped water as white caps make me very ill and blue caps don't have the taste or quality of black caps (the color of caps indicate how it is collected and process). Of all the black caps, Essentia is my favorite brand. I love the strong, sturdy bottles, and prefer the larger size to help me remember to hydrate. Most people don't feel like water has affects like coffee or energy drinks, but this water is clean and provides me with a boost of alertness. In terms of the value, I think it's definitely overpriced. I don't believe water should come at such a high price, yet I still pay for this brand because of the taste, the enjoyment, my energy levels and how clean it tastes going down. And it doesn't make me ill. If you're new to understanding water, pH balances, and how water is different based on how it is processed, give this a try and experience the difference of it's effectiveness.
