Aurora Borealis presents the debut album from Fermata. Titled Salvaged Space, the album is constructed entirely out of phone and handheld recordings of quiet moments, street performers, instrumental improvisations, and noise pollution. Salvaged Space is a document of the last few years that Fermata has spent experimenting with different methods of arrangement and composition. Says the artist, "I aimed to prevent myself from overthinking the musical material, instead focusing on shaping and warping sound so that it shared the same alive/imperfect nature of the recorded soundscapes each piece is inspired by." Fermata is the project of Harry Smith, and it is highly complex, accomplished and nuanced for such a young artist. Embracing the full spectrum of electronic music, field recordings and sound design, Salvaged Space is a deeply rewarding listen with a strong feel of the different geographies involved, giving a sense of linear and temporal travel.

Fun while they lasted

I ordered two. One for each pup. Both my puppies loved this toy. The first one lasted less than a day with my pup who loves to do the death shake on everything. The second lasted two days with the other as she chews in the same spot. They loved the crinkle noise. However, I'm taking one star away due to not lasting long. Everything else was fine and they enjoyed them while they lasted. Note that most toys do not last long with my pups.

Puppy Loves this toy

My puppy is a 7wk old Great Pyrenees & Lab mix. He loves this toy! Fun for tug of war and for cuddles. Definitely worth the money. It is durable enough for razor puppy teeth.

The pooch is on Cloud No 9

Lucky loves everything about this (blue) octopus. It has squeakers in all the right places and the crinkle sound adds to his fun. He’s almost 70lbs and extremely strong, and can be an aggressive player and chewer. So far, it has held up extremely well for the tug-of-war games and crazy shaking play. It’s well worth the money. I also want to mention that this toy is true to size. I have too often ordered dog toys that turned out to be much smaller than advertised.

Perfect for small dogs!

These are so cute. My 10 pound Havanese absolutely loves these. They are the perfect size for her. I couldn’t put them away with the Halloween decor because she carries them everywhere. She has one in the bed, one in the car and one for around the house. Very durable and fun for her.
