A stunning, and completely unique, set of vintage haberdashery chest of drawers.
A beautiful and versatile haberdashery drawers consisting of fourteen individual drawers. This piece features a nice mix of short and long drawers, each varying in colour, with original numbering to most of the drawers. Some of these numbers are stamped and some are hand written. Originally, the drawers had metal sides and backs. Our cabinet maker has built a new carcass, using solid reclaimed hardwood, to house the whole piece. The result is a high-quality, one of a kind, statement vintage piece.
The drawers have a stunning patina that only time can achieve. Each drawer contains their original handles which consist of either solid brass pulls or cup handles.
Condition
These drawers are vintage so they do come with imperfections. They will have marks, polished in scratches, nics and the odd dink here and there... which add to their character, vintage appeal and gives a unique aged look - something that new furniture cannot replicate! There are marks etc inside the drawers but these could be easily lined with a paper of your choice if desired. Please see the photos for more detail.
