Fitment Guide

It is highly recommended that this spoiler is fitted by a professional body shop. The Eyebrow spoiler requires painting before use, this is to prevent exposed fibreglass (GRP) from absorbing moisture which will lead to de-lamination.

 As with all GRP products the spoiler may require some trimming and sanding to produce a perfect fitment, this is due to inconsistencies in vehicle alignment and fibreglass production methods.

 There are several different ways to attach the eyebrow, explained below are 2 fitment procedures. Both procedures require fasteners or materials not supplied with the eyebrow.

 Fitment by fasteners

• Trial fit the eyebrow onto the vehicle, ensure it fits and aligns correctly with the bonnet in both the open and closed position, if required sand some areas to allow correct fitment.

• Using sandpaper and a sanding block ensure all edges are smooth, to the correct profile and free from burs

• Fit the eyebrow in its intended position and hold in place with masking tape, mark and drill 2 holes through the eyebrow and the grille of sufficient width for the fastener you intend to use.

• De-bur all holes. Fit the spoiler with the fasteners (using spacers if required) and re-check alignment. adjust if necessary.

• The spoiler should now be professionally prepared and painted.

• The painted eyebrow can now be fitted.

Fitment by adhesive tape

• Trial fit the eyebrow onto the vehicle, ensure it fits and aligns correctly with the bonnet in both the open and closed position, if required sand some areas to allow correct fitment.

• Using sandpaper and a sanding block ensure all edges are smooth, to the correct profile and free from burs

• The spoiler should now be professionally prepared and painted.

• Thoroughly clean and degrease the upper grille area, top of the headlights and underside of the eyebrow.

• Attach high quality double sided foam tape to the top edges of the headlights and the upper surface of the grille

• Align and fit the eyebrow and ensure all areas have fully adhered.
