The Abacus Row Seasons Collection is a continued exploration of color, initially inspired by the paintings of Etel Adnan and further propelled by our look into the works of Hilma af Klint and our enduring love for Marc Chagall’s The Four Seasons mosaic.

Abacus Row began designing this collection first with attention to color. Giving a nod to nature and the temporality and anticipation of growth, they created two palettes: Perennial, a palette to capture the wonder of the outdoors, a sense of gratitude and fullness; Annual, packed with competing bold and uplifting colors, the fruition of our creative energy, optimism and imagination.

Altogether, Seasons is a layering of sentiments and perspectives marked by this unusual time of varied yet shared experiences.

Color Palettes
Perennial – a predominantly green and blue palette composed of 10 different colors, grounded and all-encompassing
Annual – a palette of largely purples and red, bold and uplifting

Design Concepts
Habitual – a thoughtful and carefully meditated balance
Progressions – a decisive comparison of bold and subtle differences
Letting Go – a joyful embrace in releasing control.
