The RAT Jazz stand is a firm favourite among gigging musicians, educators, and ensembles the world over. This unique stand packs down to the size of the desk itself and can be set up in seconds with no tools or tightening required.

Easy adjustment

This sturdy RAT stand has telescopic friction joints along its trunk - simply lift the shelf to the desired height and have faith it will not slip during a performance, even with a massive 2.5kg of sheet music piled on top. The mechanism is so easy it can be adjusted with one hand. No knobs, levers, screws, or finger traps!

Ideal for travelling musicians

When packed away whole stand folds flat for easy storage and is no bigger than its desk. It's mostly constructed from lightweight aluminium making it easy to carry around too.

Tailor made fit

This bag is the perfect size to securely hold and transport the RAT Jazz stand. The dense padding around the sides prevents movement without restricting access to the stand when you get to the gig.

Strap Line

The strap can be adjusted to suit musicians of all shapes and sizes and can be set between 78cm and 117.5cm in length. The easy-glide durable nature of the strap webbing allows for quick and easy adjustment and comfort when carrying. This detachable strap is also fitted with a generous shoulder pad. When not required, the strap can be removed as the case is also fitted with a sturdy, padded handle for comfortable carrying by hand.

Virtually unbreakable

The injection moulded desk section is made from a polymer that spring back if bent and doesn't ring when knocked. All its edges are rounded to make it comfortable to handle and prevent any accidental damage to your instrument. The tray also has an extra shelf built in for pencils and other accessories.

Flexible design

Diecast aluminium legs with a scratch resistant epoxy coating keep the stand sturdy without adding unnecessary weight, while rubber feet prevent damage to the stand and the floor. The ingenious reversible base allows the stand to be angled towards or away from the player without sacrificing any stability. Combined with the 265° rotating desk, this means the Jazz ensures the best use of space in cramped orchestra pits and can even be used as a conductor's stand.
