D-MAX Technology
Ashly's all-new proprietary D-MAX technology brings together smart, cutting-edge amplifier design, a brand-new ultrafast switching power supply with Silicon-Carbide semiconductors and diodes, and intelligent power management to deliver ultimate efficiency.
  • When current and voltage are exactly in phase, current demand is reduced and efficiency increased. Dynamic Power Factor Correction tracks current continuously to maintain accurate monitoring and control.
  • Silicon Carbide semiconductors boost both speed and efficiency and are significantly faster than the old-school pure silicon of the past.
  • Traditional silicon semiconductors don’t shut off instantly. They have a lag time called “switching loss”, leading to a residual tail current (red portions in the drawing at left). From an audio-quality standpoint, this makes for a sloppier, less precise sound; from an efficiency standpoint it sucks up unnecessary power.
  • Instead, Ashly is pioneering the use of silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors. They have unique electrical characteristics that render them able to switch on and off far faster than conventional silicon. The result is an amplifier design that’s faster (thus better audio fidelity) and more efficient.
SailFlow Cooling Architecture
  • Power amplifiers need cooling. In most amps, heat-reducing airflow takes a convoluted path in and around internal components. Front to back, back to front, and side to side, those nice perforated grilles look simple until you look inside the amp and notice the helter-skelter airflow.
  • Ashly didn’t want cooling air to just wander around inside the EcoTour chassis, so they came up with their unique SailFlow architecture, which directs internal airflow strictly over the areas that generate the most heat, rather than arbitrarily over the whole amp. This keeps the already highly efficient EcoTour Series even cooler and assures reliable, stable operation, even under heavy loads.

Worth it!
Color: Black
A necessity for anyone trying to elevate their espresso making game. I use this to measure my beans and to also measure the shot I pull and how long it takes to pull. It’s great quality and totally worth it. The scale is very quick to start when the shot starts to pull. Easy to use and a great scale.

Works prefectly, accurate, easy to use, and looks great.
Color: Black
I didn't expect much but it works really well and seems to be very accurate. It's much more sensitive (to 0.1g) than the scale I was using to measure my coffee and the autostart timer works really well. Also, unlike my other scale, this one is USB-C rechargable and so far has no indication of needing a recharge after a week or so of daily use. My other scale uses CR2032 batteries and goes through a pair every three weeks, so being able to recharge instead is quite nice. It's small and I can use it to time the extraction and also use it to measure out heated water for tea, or whatever I need. This is definitely a steal for the price.

Great value and full-functioned.
Color: Black
This is a simple, elegant little scale with timer. It's perfect for use with a small espresso machine like my Breville Bambino Plus. It shifts easily from counter use weighing beans before grinding, to placing on the drip tray to time and weigh shots. The top is smooth and water resistant. I think it's a great value.

Premium experience from a scale
This scale is not cheap, but it comes with a premium experience. The overall build quality is excellent, and it looks and feels great. Scale is extremely sensitive and response, and very consistent. Quick to zero, quick to turn on. Display is clear and easy to read. Well insulated from water, with only the bottom being semi-exposed to liquids (note that it is NOT waterproof, so still be careful - do not submerge it). It also has an espresso mode which can be toggled on/off. That mode will automatically tare when placing things on it, meaning you can weigh your beans, take off the bowl and put back on a cup to brew the espresso into, all without tareing manually. It also detects when you're actually brewing, and it does so by detecting a steady flow of liquid. This specifically can be a bit finicky, it may or may not work for you depending on your machine and how you brew. My only single complaint is the volume of the beeping. By default it plays a loud beep whenever you're using the touch buttons. It is very loud and I turned it off immediately. Unfortunately it seems there is no way to lower the volume on the beeps. Not a deal-breaker at all for me, but something to consider if you care about audio feedback.

Reliable scale, great for starting on a budget while still getting fairly solid results
This scale performs wonderfully and is very reliable. I will say the only issue I am having is that it seems to be very very touchy with not getting an exact weight reading and flickers a lot. I don't think this is really an issue as it might just be super sensitive. But for the price it's absolutely worth it
