San Francisco avant-gardists Lotus Thief create visionary music that incorporates elements of doom and black metal as well as post rock. Transcendent in sound and substance, the band has released two acclaimed albums ("Rervm" in 2014, and their Prophecy debut "Gramarye" in 2016), that draw insight from ancient texts for present-day life. History is preserved and ignited, a sonic re-imagining for a world where the human race learns from it's past. With their third record "Oresteia," Lotus Thief pushes their sound further than ever, focussing on both male and female singing, feral screams, melodic versus ferocious guitarwork and soaring violins. The result balances the atmospheric with the devastating. In retelling the namesake epic trilogy from ancient Greece by tragedian Aeschylus, mastermind Bezaelith once again addresses distinctly modern topics, as the blood-drenched story of the mythical House of Atreus prompts several questions, ranging from the ethics of killing to gender roles. "Oresteia" is an intentional narrative and boasts Lotus Thief's most sophisticated production so far. A five-headed hydra of distinct personalities and stylistic backgrounds contributes to the record's depth and diversity like the masked actors in an ancient stage play. It is no wonder that with it's strong dynamics and ambient intersections, the tracks mirror an experience not unlike attending a performance in an amphitheater. Add to this maybe the heaviest moments ever in Lotus Thief's oeuvre, their new full-length embodies the ingenuity and intensity of contemporary extreme music. "Oresteia" is available as a Digipak CD, 2CD artbook with two bonus tracks and on vinyl (black, ltd. Transparent red).

Great ball
I have bought two of these in different colors. My Yorkie loves them. They’re very interactive even if you don’t put the cover on it they move and if he’s not playing with it, it tends to go into sleep mode.My Yorkie got the cover off the ball within the first two minutes. But he loves the ball. Now bought 2nd ball. The ones with covers don’t work he rips the covers off.

Super Fun
Color: Green
One of the most entertaining things you could buy. The dogs go crazy over it and have so much fun. It's a bit loud on hard floors, but honestly worth it for the laughs. Seems pretty durable too.
I have 2 labs; one started out uninterested and the other started off scared of it, but not too long after, they both started going crazy, tossing and carrying it around while it shook.

I'M AMENDING THIS REVIEW AND ADJUSTING THE RATING UPWARD! Though it took my dog a little while to adjust to how differently this ball behaves, HE LOVES IT NOW. I wish I could give you a sense of how enjoyable and comically entertaining it is to play with him using it. ORIG. REVIEW: Bought this for a little 8 lb. aggressive chewer who loves to play fetch. I initially bought the 2" Chuckit! Ultra ball previously. It is the most amazingly durable product I've found for this pup. Very firm, but not hard on his teeth. He's very quick and agile, so I thought he would like the eye-mouth coordination challenge of a ball that changes direction suddenly. I guess my only disappointment with the product is that the ball is hollow instead of having a solid core like the Ultra ball, so he doesn't enjoy chomping down on it the same way. The erratic bounce feature is entertaining, but the pup is a little skittish, so he was intimidated at first. He's warmed up to it, but not with the same enthusiasm as the Ultra ball. Having said all this, I don't fault the product for the rating I gave it. It is a quality-made product that performs as advertised. I just didn't anticipate that my dog would be less enthusiastic than I thought.
