The ART PDB4- Rackmountable 4-Channel Passive Direct Box is designed for studio and live performance applications. The 1RU 19" rackmountable passive device features four fully transformer isolated direct boxes with inputs and outputs isolated from one another to maximize channel separation and remove system ground loops. It can be used to connect the 1/4" outputs of electronic music instruments and other audio sources to the balanced XLR inputs of a mixing console or other balanced audio equipment. Each channel features a front panel 1/4" input, a 1/4" pass thru, and an input attenuation switch with 0 dB, -20 dB, -40 dB settings and accepts a frequency response of 10 to 50,000 Hz. Each channel features a back panel balanced XLR-3M output for connecting to a mixing console or preamplifier for recording as well as a ground lift switch.

I also had no issues accessing or using any of the buttons while the case was on. One of my favorite features is the automatic sleep/wake function—closing the cover puts the iPad into sleep mode, which helps save battery life. I chose the black version, and it has a clean, simple look. For the price, I think it’s a great value. Overall, this is a slim, functional, and well-fitting iPad case that I definitely recommend!
