Featuring the updated HMF carbon frame to craft a perfect balance between a lightweight construction, impressive stiffness and comfort that will last the duration of your ride, the frame has been given dialled-in flex that helps smooth out road surfaces and vibrations without leading the ride to feel soft or bouncy. Flanked by the reshaped seat tube that has been slimmed down for more vertical compliance so it can flex with the terrain and refined tube profiles, the new Addict range offers 25% more compliance than the race-focused Addict RC and a whopping 50% more than the previous Addict generation.

Scott’s latest developments on the Addict 50’s geometry puts it in a more relaxed position, ideal for endurance rides with the higher stack and shorter reach so you sit in more natural upright fashion. The Syncros RP2.0 Disc 28 wheels paired with Schwalbe’s ONE Fold 34mm tyres that offer lower rolling resistance means the Addict 50 has been engineered to accommodate a tyre clearance of up to 38mm for enhanced vibration absorption and confident grip that remains under your control even when cornering or in slick conditions, and the improved head tube and bottom bracket stiffness contends with the Addict RC to keep this confidence in the Addict 50’s precise handling and efficient power transfer.

Equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes that ensure efficient stopping power during a range of weather conditions and the Shimano 105 shifters for a smooth gear shifting experience, the Addict 50 has been designed with integrated mounting points to personalise your bike, from the mounting points hidden beneath the top tube that can be covered with rubber covers when you’re not using them to maintain a sleek, clean appearance, to the D-shaped seatpost that has been implemented to accommodate an integrated rear light for when your adventures keep you out past sunset.
