Experience enterprise-class power management with the Panduit SmartZone G5 Intelligent 24-Outlets PDU. Designed for data centers, laboratories, and critical IT environments, this monitored power distribution unit delivers precise outlet-level data, proactive alerts, and scalable remote management. With a compact 0U vertical form factor, it fits seamlessly into dense rack environments while supporting a high-density mix of IEC C13 and C19 outlets. The PDU's NEMA L6-30P inlet and 415 V AC capability provide flexible, safe power delivery for a variety of equipment configurations, ensuring uptime and operational visibility across the data center stack.

  • Monitored power distribution with remote visibility: Real-time monitoring of voltage, current, and per-outlet load allows you to track power consumption, identify hotspots, and prevent overloads before they impact critical devices. With remote access via the network, administrators can view live data, generate reports, and receive alerts when thresholds are exceeded.
  • High-density outlet configuration for versatile rack deployments: The unit provides 24 outlets in a thoughtful mix of 20 IEC 60320 C13 and 4 IEC 60320 C19 receptacles, supporting a wide range of servers, storage, network gear, and peripherals. This configuration enables efficient power distribution for modern IT ecosystems while maintaining easy cable routing for maintenance and upgrades.
  • Robust power input for demanding environments: The SmartZone G5 is designed for 415 V AC operation via a NEMA L6-30P inlet, delivering dependable power to mission-critical devices. The 0U form factor minimizes rack footprint while maintaining strong electrical performance and fault tolerance for multi-rack deployments.
  • Integrated network management for proactive control: With an RJ-45 network port, the PDU enables centralized monitoring, alerting, and control across the data center. This enables IT teams to implement consistent power policies, automate responses to abnormal conditions, and integrate with existing monitoring platforms and dashboards.
  • Rack-mountable, space-saving design with scalable management: The vertical, 0U profile fits into dense racks, leaving room for other essential equipment. Its intelligent design supports scalable management across multiple PDUs, helping facilities engineers orchestrate power across larger deployments without sacrificing visibility or control.

How to install Panduit SmartZone G5 Intelligent 24-Outlets PDU

  • Prepare the rack and workspace: Confirm your rack is a standard 19-inch cabinet with mounting rails and adequate clearance for cable management and cooling. Inspect the PDU and mounting hardware upon delivery to ensure there is no damage.
  • Mount the PDU in the rack: Attach the PDU to the rack using the provided mounting brackets and appropriate screws. Align the unit to ensure the outlets are accessible and that cabling can be routed cleanly along the rear of the rack.
  • Connect the input power: Plug the NEMA L6-30P inlet into the 415 V AC power source that matches the PDU’s rating and circuit protection. Ensure that the circuit breaker feeding the PDU is sized appropriately for continuous load and that all safety clearances are maintained.
  • Route and label outlets: Organize power cables from servers, storage, and network devices to the 20 C13 and 4 C19 outlets. Use color-coding or labeling to simplify future maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Configure network connectivity: Connect an Ethernet cable from the PDU’s RJ-45 port to your management network or a dedicated monitoring appliance. Ensure network connectivity and verify that the PDU can be reached from your monitoring console or IP-based management tool.
  • Initial power-on and verification: Power up the PDU and verify that all outlets are recognized by the management interface. Check for any fault indicators and confirm that real-time metering data is being reported for each outlet where supported.
  • Set up monitoring, alerts, and policies: Access the PDU’s web interface to configure IP addressing (static or DHCP), user access, and alert thresholds. Create notification rules (email, SNMP traps, or other supported channels) to receive proactive warnings when loads exceed configured limits or when device faults occur.
  • Test and document: Run a controlled load test on representative devices to confirm accurate metering and outlet status. Document the configuration for future audits and maintenance cycles, and schedule routine checks to ensure continued reliability and data accuracy.

In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
