Alfatronix Powerverters offer a convenient way to operate mass produced 12Vdc equipment such as cell phones, in car entertainment, professional communications, telematics equipment, refrigerators, televisions etc. from the 24Vdc electrical systems found on diesel engined vessels.

A Comprehensive Range

There are 14 products in the range from 3A to 50A in isolated or common earth configurations. They have been optimised for high volume 24Vdc to 12Vdc applications such as on heavy goods vehicles, coaches, buses, forestry and agricultural, commercial as well as leisure marine vehicles.

Tamper Proof

These units are IP53, so there are no ventilation holes to permit stray objects, dust or water droplets to enter the case, there are no external fuses to be tampered with. Fuses will only blow if there is a fault so there is no need to make them accessible.

Fast Installation

All the units consume an off load current of less than 15mA, which is probably less than the self discharge current of the vehicle’s battery. In most cases this can be ignored, speeding the installation by removing the need to fit a remote switch. All products fit onto a “Click ‘n’ Fit” mounting clip which is fixed in three points allowing it to be mounted on uneven surfaces. It is easy to fit the clip into awkward places and then simply click the unit into position. A fixing kit for din rail installation is also available. A green LED indicates when there is output from the converter. This gives reassurance to the installation engineer and speeds fault finding.

I neglected to resolve the issue with the ink pad on my printer when it first notified me, so in the process of fulfilling an order for my business the printer decided it didn't want to work anymore, we tried to do a temporary fix but to no avail, had to order brand new inkpad, came across this brand and I am so glad that I did, not only does it come with an extra pad refill it also comes with very simple instructions to reset the waste ink counter, very user friendly, although I did run into a few hiccups and I reached out to them by email and within 24 hrs a very nice Delores answered all my questions and was very helpful, even though I had to switch the USB to my desktop and then dbl checked to make sure it was fully into the printer, a few clicks on the reset program and my printer was back in full performance. I had bought a key for 9.99 previously before ordering from this company and they even offered to refund me even when it wasn't bought thru them. Now, that's great customer service. Highly recommend this item.

Ok, I was really annoyed when I found out this waste ink pad causes the printer to be "end of life." I currently have the ET2800, and after 15,500 pages, I got this message. I own a small stationery business, which is why I print a lot. However, I used to work on large multi-function printers that had user-replaceable waste ink cartridges. I called Epson in hopes that they would just send me the part and be done with it. BUT NOPE, they wanted me to send in pictures, then I had to either send the printer in or get a certified technician to work on it. I looked online and found this, along with several videos on how a regular user can replace it themselves. It was easy, with no issues. You do need to physically plug the printer into your computer. OH, and the SOFTWARE is only compatible ON WINDOWS; it does not work on MAC OS and GOOGLE OS. Just FYI. The only problem I had was that the software, which is usually offered by third-party products from Amazon, has a sketchy website attached to it. BUT this was the best one to use because you DO NOT NEED A KEY to reset the waste ink counter. You simply use their application, and that's it. One tip I suggest is to uninstall or delete the application and its folder after you have finished resetting. Also, empty your recycle bin. Then run a quick Windows security scan.
