Billitonite tektite's energy is both grounding and protective. Batu Satam stone aka Billitonite is an approximately 790,000 year old tektite found on the Billiton Island in Indonesia. Billitonites unusual glossy jet black luster and deep grooved surface has made them very popular with collectors. The stones with natural grooves sometimes resembling flowing Arabic script are said to contain more "magic".
