The Story
I have always loved water — it is where I disappear. Waterfalls have their own magic where the sound takes you somewhere your mind cannot hold. This painting came at a moment in my life when I had seen everything clearly — the vision was complete, luminous, satisfying. But I had not moved. The figure sitting at the threshold is me, resting in that exact pause between knowing and beginning.
The Crossing
Crossing 2.7 Awakening via Living Dao — The Mind Surrenders. At 2.7, the vision is complete and weightless — the most coherent expression of the Awakening row, where every question has an answer and every piece fits. The golden upper world holds this finished knowing while the purple realm below remains uncharted territory that seeing alone cannot enter. The figure rests at the threshold where the mind's work ends and the body's journey has not begun.

A dual-world vertical composition that physically splits consciousness between a fully realised golden realm above and an uncharted purple architecture below, with heavy impasto mineral pigments creating two distinct atmospheres within a single surface.
