Designed to drive everything from low- to high-Z loads for headphones or loudspeakers, the HPA V550 Pro Headphone Amp and Preamp from Violectric delivers versatile functionality and low-noise, low-distortion circuits specially optimized for dynamic and orthodynamic headphones. With support for headphone impedance loads of 16 to 600 ohms, the V550 Pro can drive the most demanding headphones, while pre-gain selection via DIP switch and pre- or post-fader selection make the unit equally comfortable as a high-fidelity studio preamplifier.

The V550 Pro sports balanced stereo Neutrik XLR outputs and inputs, two unbalanced RCA inputs, four unbalanced RCA outputs, two unbalanced 1/4" stereo TRS headphone outputs, and one fully balanced, Neutrik XLR 4-pin stereo headphone output with gold-plating for true balanced headphone amplification. This amp features plenty of control over your amplified signal with 256-step relay volume control with balance knob, dedicated input and output selection, and a wireless infrared remote control for conveniently controlling volume and selecting inputs or outputs.
