Engineered for dense, reliable edge and embedded deployments, the Supermicro X10SDV-12C-TLN4F+ Server Motherboard delivers server-grade compute in a compact Mini ITX form factor. Built around Intel’s Xeon D System-on-a-Chip (SoC) technology, this board blends horsepower, efficiency, and rigorous reliability to power gateways, industrial automation, network appliances, and other mission-critical workloads at the edge. The Mini ITX footprint makes it ideal for compact data centers, telecom cabinets, and remote sites where space and energy budgets are tight, yet demand for virtualization, secure networking, and real-time processing remains high. With a BGA-1667 socket supporting Xeon D SoCs, this motherboard enables a streamlined, scalable path from single-node deployments to more capable edge clusters without sacrificing form factor or price/performance balance.

  • Compact, space-saving design combined with enterprise-class performance. The X10SDV-12C-TLN4F+ puts powerful processing, virtualization readiness, and data throughput into a footprint small enough for micro data centers and edge installations, helping operators deploy capable infrastructure where traditional rack servers are impractical. Its efficient thermal design and tuned power profiles deliver dependable 24/7 operation in constrained environments, reducing cooling requirements and total cost of ownership while maintaining robust performance for multi-tenant workloads and containerized services.
  • Intel Xeon D SoC integration for high-efficiency multi-core processing. The board centers on a Xeon D System-on-a-Chip, combining CPU cores, memory controller, I/O, and security accelerators in a single chip for streamlined performance-per-watt. This architecture supports virtualization, container orchestration, and real-time data handling at the edge, enabling faster data processing, reduced latency, and improved throughput for firewall/VPN appliances, edge gateways, and microservice-driven applications. Enhanced security features, hardware-assisted encryption, and trusted boot capabilities help protect deployments in potentially hostile or field environments.
  • Extensive I/O real estate and flexible expansion options. The X10SDV-12C-TLN4F+ supplies a rich set of connections suitable for diverse workloads: multiple PCIe lanes for accelerators and network cards, onboard storage interfaces for rapid data access, and USB 3.0 ports for peripheral ecosystems. Networking is a core strength, with onboard Ethernet support complemented by expansion through PCIe-based NICs for higher throughput or redundant network paths. This flexibility makes it easy to tailor the platform to firewall, VPN, load-balancing, or telemetry deployments while preserving room for future upgrades.
  • Onboard management, reliability, and long-term support. Designed with mission-critical reliability in mind, the board embraces enterprise-grade manageability features, including IPMI-based remote monitoring and control, sensor arrays for temperature and voltage, and secure firmware update pathways. ECC memory compatibility protects against data corruption, while robust voltage regulation and quality components help sustain stability under peak workloads. These traits translate into predictable performance in 24/7 operation, simplified remote administration, and a lower risk of downtime during maintenance windows or firmware updates.
  • Ease of deployment, lifecycle, and ecosystem compatibility. The X10SDV-12C-TLN4F+ is built to slot into standard, field-proven server and edge environments, with compatibility for common chassis, power supplies, and storage configurations. Its Xeon D heritage assures ongoing software and driver support from Intel and Supermicro, fostering a stable long-term platform for telecom, industrial automation, and data-center edge solutions. The combination of compact size, proven reliability, and enterprise-oriented features makes it an attractive choice for organizations seeking scalable, future-proof hardware at a practical price point.

Excellent and beyond
Format: Kindle
It’s been a long time since I’ve read a Wolverine comic and had to get pristine copies for my collection. This is what Wolverine fans have waited for. The two stories are superb. The art is fantastic. Wolverine is finally given a worthy effort again.

A must read for Kylo fans
Format: Kindle
I'm so sad this was only about 100 pages. This gave clarity to the choppy movie origin story of Kylo Ren while filling some major movie plot holes. Angsty, heart wrenching and dark -- the perfect intro for our favorite emo space boy. The art style was really great without being too gory. Adam Driver fans will also be pretty pleased with the likeness (it's not exact, but still good).

Really good read, and leaves questions
Format: Paperback
Nice to see the Ben Solo story flushed out more than what was shown in The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker. A good job also of not explaining everything. Ben mentions something about what Skywalker did to Snoke, and then there's the Emperor himself speaking to Ben in his mind, which makes one wonder, if even the Emperor was his own voice in Ben's head, why didn't Kylo recognize him in The Rise Of Skywalker. Plenty of things left to really expand upon this very good story.
