About the Bowls
These eco friendly olive wood bowls from Tunisia average 4 to 5 inches in length, 2 to 3 inches in width, and 1 to 1.5 inches deep. Some of the tree's bark is left around the edge. Each displays its own pattern of natural striations, and each is unique because they are handcrafted by local artisans.
The bowls are eco-friendly because they are produced from the wood of olive trees that have stopped producing, so that new olive trees can grow.
Olive wood is a hard wood. For care, carefully hand wash if needed, and occasionally coat with olive oil to prevent the wood from drying out. Do not leave soaking in water or exposed to heat or sunshine.
