About this Fulgurite
This fulgurite was created when lightning struck sand in the desert in Morocco. The energy of the lightning caused the sand particles to fuse together creating a hollow structure of fused quartz, or lechatelierite. Scientists estimate that for an instant these lightning strikes are hotter than the surface of the sun. Because of this it has long been thought that Fulgurites still carry the instantaneous metaphysical energy from which they were created.
