渡辺省亭 1851年に出生し、1918年、67歳をもって逝去した。1898年は、46–47歳頃の作。『國華』1554号に本作品の御解説の所載。

Watanabe Seitei was born in 1851 and died in 1918 at the age of 67.
The present work, dated to 1898, is considered to have been produced when the artist was approximately 46 to 47 years old.
