Marine Buffer is designed to safely elevate marine pH to 8.3. Even in the event of an accidental overdose, it will not push pH levels beyond 8.3. Unlike common substitutes that consist solely of sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate, Marine Buffer is a carefully formulated blend.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Add 5g (1 level teaspoon) for every 80L (20 US gallons). Dissolve in at least one cup of freshwater. This amount will also increase alkalinity by approximately 1 meq/L. Continue adding daily until the pH levels stabilize at 8.3. This process may take from one day to a week, depending on the initial pH and alkalinity. After achieving stability, use biweekly or monthly to keep the pH at 8.3.
