Uncertified at the time, the gem dealer insisted it was a padparadscha sapphire, though we weren't completely convinced. Regardless, we loved the colour and the clean clarity of this gemstone and gladly attained it for The Sapphire Merchant collection. Upon having it certified we were delighted to discover it was a Mozambique ruby!
